I am an artist that offers original designs for myself along with fully custom artwork based on the clients preferences, references and design.

How and when did you start creating art?

I was born in 1960 and grew up on the south shore of Massachusetts in a bilingual Italian family saturated with old school traditions, religion and cultural superstitions. As a child much of my free time was spent romping and exploring in the woods and absorbing nature and it’s lessons along with family trips to Italy which expanded my mind and love of all art forms along with the subliminal way art can mold our souls and society.

What media and genres do you work in?

My art is created in a diversity of mediums and styles that I greatly enjoy experimenting with from oil painting to figurative drawing, scrimshaw and all the possibilities between.

Who or what are your influences?

Carvaggio, Frank Frazetta, Rembrandt, Bernini and so many others

What was your inspiration for
Peace Frog
?

This piece was created as an homage to a friend who I taught to catch frogs as a child and it symbolizes the deep connection of simpler pleasures of days gone by.

Describe your creative process?

The creative process for me usually starts with a glance and a wink from my Muse as she leaves me with the thread of a dream image that I attempt to stitch into reality or words I must write down, many times a song lyric or current event becomes the inspiration. At some point something clicks! a sort of fusion of thoughts and vision then I begin to sketch a tangible outcome and usually can't stop till I see the finished product.
