"I love to photograph many things and my favorites are: Landscapes, Wildlife, Rock bands, and just about anything that interests me when I see it. Been at it in one form or another since 1980 or so."
How and when did you start creating art?
I was shooting a few bands in 1980, then in the 2000s I did photograph a quite a few models.
What media and genres do you work in?
I have photographed 7 Pro Cycling events and have been published on a cover.
Who or what are your influences?
I take a little bit from everything I see, but mostly I am my own influence.
What was your inspiration for
Caddo Lake Cypress Reflections
?I like the Caddo Lake area and I was hoping to get a great shot there in 2023. I am very happy that it came out so well.
Describe your creative process?
I try to be different and create from different perspectives and angles. I know what I want when I look thru the lens. Hopefully it translates to the photo.
What are you working on currently?
I am working on editing photos from the summer as my wife and I were in Utah, Oregon, and Idaho. Lots of birds!
What are your near/long term goals as an artist?
I am always learning and trying to get better at this craft.
