Love is both an origin and an act, a force that begins within and radiates outward. startswithus: the art of love invites artists to explore love as catalyst, connection, and creation. From tenderness to resistance, this exhibition celebrates the many ways love moves through human experience and material form. In a season defined by care and reflection, we ask: What does it mean to create from love? To center compassion as a creative practice? We welcome works that express love’s quiet gestures and bold declarations, its capacity to heal, unite, and transform communities. Hosted by startswithus, a nonprofit devoted to building connection through philanthropy and community, this exhibition will donate all proceeds to New York Cares, supporting those who embody love through service across our city. Eligibility: Artists must be 18 or older. All mediums welcome.
