TTT2027 Vienna – Call for Papers, Artist Talks and Artwork Presentations. 7th Interdisciplinary Conference Taboo – Transgression – Transcendence in Art & Science. 14–17 September 2027 | University of Applied Arts Vienna (Angewandte), Austria. Submission deadline: 11 November 2026. First held in 2016 in Corfu, Greece, TTT is an international interdisciplinary conference fostering dialogue across art, science, technology and society. TTT2027 Vienna is supported by Johannes Kepler University Linz and the Art x Science School for Transformation. Taking the placenta as a biological and conceptual reference, the conference explores care, interdependence and transformation. Topics include feminist, queer and trans practices of care; reproductive justice; bioart and biotechnology; artificial and artistic intelligence; creative labour; ecological repair; more-than-human relations; biopolitics; and economies of care. Artistic research and experimental, practice-based contributions are welcome. Submit a research paper, artist talk or artwork presentation proposal (maximum 300 words) by 11 November 2026. Proposals will be reviewed by the international Scientific-Artistic Committee. Conference language: English. No registration or participation fees.
