The Windsor Improvement Corporation is seeking proposals for a public art installation along the road frontage of 133 Main Street, in Windsor, Vermont, mounted along a 99 linear ft. x 3 ft. (app.) metal fence depicting elements related to the history, industry, culture, people, or natural resources of Windsor. The Committee seeks proposals of design, fabrication, and installation of a work of art which represents the significance of Windsor in a highly visible location. Candidates are encouraged to interpret any aspect of Windsor’s history or ecology broadly and creatively, connecting Windsor’s past with its present and future. Applicants are also encouraged to include an opportunity for public involvement, either in the completion of the project or as a supplemental activity to the project.
