Collage Artists of America (CAA) invites all artists around the globe to submit work for “Portals,” an open online juried exhibition. The exhibition will be presented virtually on the Collage Artists of America website and through OnlineJuriedShows. Artists are encouraged to explore what defines a portal and to imagine one that resonates with them. A portal might be an elaborate doorway leading to the known or unknown, an opening into another universe, an entrance into the body or mind, or any passage into something real or imagined. About the Juror: Karin Skiba received her MFA from CGU in Claremont, CA, and was a full-time art professor at Norco College in the Riverside District, retiring as Professor Emeritus. Karin has shaped the region’s artistic landscape by founding and directing the Norco College Art Gallery, serving as the inaugural director of the Hi-Desert Art Gallery, and curating at Joshua Tree’s Juniper Arts Gallery. She has created art for over 50 years exhibiting in Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, Joshua Tree, Palm Springs, and Riverside.
