
Pragovka Gallery is announcing an open call for residency projects within the international residency program of 2026. The open call is open to both Czech and international artists and curators. The residency length ranges from two to eight weeks, depending on the nature of the project. The theme of this year’s open call is Mutual Benefits, and applications can be submitted until October 15, 11:59 PM. All important information can be found directly in the open call form. The theme Mutual Benefits for Pragovka Gallery’s international residency program in 2026 is understood as an opportunity to reflect on the various forms that cooperation, sharing, and reciprocity can take in today’s world—in art, society, nature, and technology. The call is open to a wide range of approaches. Selection process: Residency projects for 2026 will be selected by a professional jury. At least one residency will be reserved for recent graduates. The gallery provides: An 80 m² studio space; Accommodation and travel costs (by agreement); Artist fees; Contribution toward the purchase of art materials; PR and production support for the residency and its outcomes. Results will be announced on the Pragovka Gallery website and Facebook page by the end of October 2025 at the latest.
