NOFA-NH is seeking to connect with local artists for our 2027 NOFA-NH Winter Conference. The theme for our 25th Winter Conference is Resilient Roots, Radiant Horizons. We are looking for two-dimensional visual art media that reflects a vision rooted in healthy soils, fair economies, and communities that care for each other. In twenty years of practice, relationship, and hard-won knowledge, our roots have been able to run deep. Today, we are looking forward to a horizon that is widening towards a more inclusive economic model, with land access rooted in justice and food systems built on care rather than extraction. NOFA-NH started as a grassroots organization, built by farmers and environmentalists who saw a bright future ahead. We hope this art can capture the movement that started down to earth and bring it into the light. Art must be a full-color print to add to our advertising and merchandise for the event. All proceeds from sales relating to merchandise will be collected by NOFA-NH. Art must be handmade by the artist, using no AI; however, it can be digitally hand-drawn. Ideally, pieces of the art can be isolated and used throughout marketing. Priority will be given to local growers and NOFA-NH members; however, all local artists are encouraged to apply. Applications close November 6th. Contracted art must be complete by December 1st. The chosen art will receive a one-time stipend of up to $500 and a complimentary ticket to our 2027 Winter Conference.
