Critical Mass Registration Opens June 1, 2026. Registration Closes July 1, 2026 Noon, Eastern. INFO: Critical Mass is an annual online program that connects photographers from around the world with leading voices in the field. Open to photographers at all levels, participants submit a portfolio of 10 images for consideration. After an initial pre-screening, 200 finalists are selected, and their work is reviewed and voted on by up to 200 respected photography professionals from around the world. From this group, the Top 50 are chosen, along with recipients of several prestigious awards. What makes Critical Mass unique is the level of visibility it offers. Your work is seen by museum curators, gallerists, publishers, editors, educators, artists, and media professionals—people who are actively looking for new talent.
