The idea that we don’t owe anyone anything- not our time, our energy, our light, or our love has been forwarding a narrative of damaging hyper-individualism. However, at CCN we believe that we owe each other a lot. We believe that our friends, classmates and neighbors are deeply interconnected and that together we can do more than we can alone. We believe that we owe each other the world. So, for this contest, we encourage you to create an art piece while thinking of the following questions: what does climate activism or organizing look like to you?, how do you envision the world that you want to see?, or what does the phrase “we owe each other the world” mean to you? Current or recently graduated college students are allowed to apply! Please make sure to read the rules, allowed entries, and procedures before submitting work to us. If you have any questions regarding the contest, reach out to kkondragunta@campusclimatenetwork.org. Submit at the Prospectus link below.
