 Workshops

Creative Music Intensive (CMI) is a two-week in-person program held August 1–16, 2026, at Arts Letters & Numbers. Open to musicians of all genres, CMI immerses participants in composing, performing, and developing new individual and collaborative work. Directed by composer Reiko Fueting (Manhattan School of Music), faculty include Jason Eckardt (CUNY), Erin Rogers (MSM), Ledah Finck, and guest composer and CMI founder Michael Harrison. Participants may work with ensembles-in-residence Bergamot Quartet and Popebema, and collaborate with artists in concurrent programs, including Bill Morrison’s filmmaking intensive (week one). The program includes private lessons, seminars, workshops, rehearsals, and performances. Topics span composition, improvisation, performance, and interdisciplinary practice. Participants are encouraged to bring projects to develop and will receive artistic mentorship, technical support, and opportunities to present their work.
