67th National Conference of Artists New Orleans: African Roots / American Fruits

As part of the 67th National Conference of Artists (NCA) national convention, hosted by the NCA New Orleans Chapter, and our ongoing commitment to promote the visual arts of the African Diaspora. NCA invites visual artists to submit entries for this national juried exhibition, which showcases the convention theme "African Roots, American Fruits Part Deux" taking place on September 25-26, 2026, in New Orleans, LA. The convention offers an immersive experience that honors the enduring connection between African heritage and its flourishing expression in American artistry. The NCA Artists Convention and exhibitions offer a profound commentary on the fusion of African roots with American cultural fruits, creating a narrative that honors both origin and evolution. This exhibition will be thoughtfully crafted to inspire reflection on how heritage shapes contemporary artistic expression. Exhibition dates: September 8 - 28, 2026, at THE BUILDING, an arts venue and gallery in New Orleans, LA. Artists may submit a maximum of three original works of art that have been completed within the last three years and have not been exhibited before in NCA New Orleans or NCA National juried exhibitions.
