Broome Arts Festival

The Broome Arts Festival is an inaugural outdoor art festival event produced by the Broome County Arts Council, a 501c3 non-profit, in celebration of our 40-year history of promoting the arts in Broome County. The application process is free and limited to artists who reside within a 75-mile radius of Binghamton, NY. BCAC’s goal for the Broome Arts Festival is to connect artists with patrons and to support promotion and sales of the artists’ work. Funds generated from this event support BCAC’s operations. No commission is collected by BCAC on any artwork sold. The Broome Arts Festival is a single-day event to take place on State Street (between Lewis Street and Henry Street) in Binghamton, NY, on Saturday, September 19th, with a rain date of Sunday, September 20th. Each artist is applying to display their work in a 10-foot x 10-foot tent to be provided by the artist. There are approximately 70 booth spaces available for purchase for this event. Two artists may share a booth so long as each artist applies and states who they will be sharing with in the comments section of the application. All booths will be located on asphalt or concrete in marked spaces measuring 12-foot-wide x 10-foot. The artist is responsible for securing all four corners of their tents with weights. The festival will include food trucks, music and live entertainment. Cost: Application is free. If you're accepted costs are as follows: $125 or $100 if you're a member.
