AADK Spain invites artists and researchers to take part in its 2026 Artistic Residency Program at Centro Negra in Blanca (Murcia, Spain). This edition explores the notion of the trace-an ambivalent mark between presence and absence, testimony and void, memory and projection. Framed within the concepts of body, territory, and spatiality, participants are encouraged to investigate the footprint as both a material record and an ephemeral gesture, capable of reshaping our ways of inhabiting and signifying the territory. Residencies last from 1 to 6 months and are open to individual creators or collectives from all disciplines. Each artist receives curatorial support, workspace, basic equipment, individual mentoring, and documentation, with visibility on AADK Spain’s digital platforms. Residency Fee including accommodation in a private room in a shared house (€1000/month) or an optional private apartment (€1300/month). Residents are invited to participate in Open Studios and collective activities, fostering dialogue and exchange. AADK provides an invitation letter to assist with external funding applications. Applications are open to professionals of all backgrounds. Please apply online and include a single PDF (max. 10MB) with your CV and portfolio.
