ARTIST NOTIFICATION: March 13, 2023. DROP OFF DATES: 4/16, 5-7 OR 4/17, 9-1. EXHIBITION DATES: April 21 – June 4, 2023. OPENING EVENT: Saturday, April 22, 4:00 – 6:00 pm. PICKUP DATES: 6/4, 5-7 OR 6/5, 9-1. EXHIBITION will be held in the Main Gallery of WAAM. Artists must live within a 50-mile radius of Woodstock, NY. ABOUT THE CALL FOR ENTRIES: Alpine & Riverine takes its direction from the deep and diverse legacy of artistic practice engaged with the natural world that has existed for millenia within a 50-mile radius of what is now Woodstock, from the heights of the Catskill Mountains to “The River that Flows Both Ways.” This exhibition seeks artists who work with landscape or natural imagery and are finding fresh inspiration and insight in these fragile ecosystems in a time of climate crisis.
