Viridian Artists Gallery is proud to present our first Summer Juried Exhibition juried by Rebecca Ribeiro, curatorial assistant at the Neuberger Museum of Art. The exhibition will run from Tuesday, July 14, through Saturday, August 1, 2026. An Opening Reception will be on Thursday, July 16th from 6 to 8 PM. 30 artists will be selected, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes awarded. All winners will be part of a group show in our Chelsea gallery space, and will also be listed on Artsy and Viridian Artist's website. The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 12th, 2026. --- Juror Rebecca Elisabeta Marya (Rem) Ribeiro currently works in the curatorial department at the Neuberger Museum of Art, SUNY Purchase, and is an adjunct professor in the Art Department at SUNY Rockland Community College. She received her master’s degree from SUNY Purchase in Modern and Contemporary Art, Criticism, and Theory, with a concentration in Museology and Curatorial Studies. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Manhattanville University in both Art History, and Creative and Professional Writing. Her curatorial work and interests are deeply grounded in existential philosophy, feminism, and queer theory. Her most recent exhibitions include: “Liminal in Nature,” and “Guerrilla Girls: Food for Thought”.
