Tenesh Webber is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans photography and drawing, focusing on themes of abstraction and perception. She has presented solo exhibitions at A.I.R. Gallery, Yossi Milo Gallery, and Mercer Union, and has been included in major group shows such as the Croatian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. Her work is held in notable collections including The Brooklyn Museum and the Eileen Kaminsky Family Foundation. Webber has received numerous awards and residencies, including two MacDowell Fellowships and a Sustainable Arts Foundation Award. She studied at OCAD University and Emily Carr University, and her upcoming solo exhibition opens at Project Art Space in 2025. This exhibition highlights Webber’s black-and-white drawings and photographic prints, which investigate the interplay between control and chance. Through the manipulation of found materials in the photogram and the layering of pencil in drawings, she creates forms that feel both fragile and enduring—structures in flux that balance disruption with resilience.
