The Cot Open is an exciting new artist's submission exhibition opportunity in Kent. We are fortunate to have two exceptional judges on board: Leila Alexander (global director of The White Cube) and esteemed collector, François Delage, who will together judge the final selection. This process will then culminate with a £1,000 prize at the Private view and a selling exhibition at Weavers Cot in September. Weavers Cot is a 16th-century Grade II* listed estate whose gardens and history have long inspired creative minds. Once home to the celebrated Naum Gabo collection and his family, the estate carries an artistic legacy ready to be awakened and re-imagined for a new generation. The concept is to bring together emerging and established UK and Ireland-based artists to create a dynamic exhibition of fresh, compelling work for our audiences and collectors. This year's theme is entitled INSIDE|OUT, and welcomes bold interpretations across both 2D and 3D media. Whether literal, abstract, emotional, or conceptual, we're seeking a diverse collection of works that challenge perception and turn the familiar 'inside out'.
