There is no charge to register for a submitter account.

Who can register for a Submitter account?

Submitter accounts are for Art Galleries, Businesses, Organizations, Charities - any group that hosting an art or photography based event. Sorry, Submitter accounts are NOT for individuals looking to promote their own work.

Why is registration required?

We strive to maintain a high level of quality control over the content that is submitted to TheArtList.com. Registration helps us validate that you are a legitimate business posting legitimate art calls.

What kind of art and photo calls can I submit?

Any type of art or photography call is accepted, such as Art Contests, Call for Entries, Public Art Calls, Residencies, Fellowships, Grants, Local, National, International, Events, Festivals, Art Fairs, Exhibitions, etc. Note that we do not accept the promotion of multiple calls on one submission. We prefer that all submissions are listed invividually. We also do not accept the promotion or advertising of businesses, services, or products through the call submission form. Please contacts us separately about advertising a business, product, or service.

How much does it cost to submit an art or photo call?

All submissions to TheArtList database for our members are FREE. We also offer two additional PAID options for maximizing the reach and exposure of your art or photo call beyond the free online database posting.

Do you have any upgrade options to increase the exposure of my art or photo callcall?

We offer two PAID options for maximizing the reach and exposure of your art or photo call, Premium Listings & Dedicated eBlasts. Premium Listings are showcased in the main sections of the website, featured on the homepages and in the monthly email newsletter that is sent out at the beginning of each month. Premium Listings are also promoted through our large social media following (29,000+ Facebook Fans and 41,000+ Twitter followers). We also post to Google +, Tumblr, and now Pinterest.. Premium Listings cost $50 per month, per submission. Our email newsletters are sent at the beginning of each month and include all of the current Premium Listings that are running during that period.

Dedicated eBlasts are where we create a dedicated email of your of your art or photo call announcement and send it to our mailing list. Like Premium Listings, eBlasts are also promoted through social media. eBlasts cost $150 per mailing and we limit to 3 mailings per month per call. We have many Submitters who, depending on the call, might purchase several eBlasts while also running a Premium Listing.

What if I submit my call for free but then decide that I want more exposure?

No problem. Simply click on the "Upgrade" button next to your art or photo call listing in your online submissions manager. It will take you to the paid Premium Listing and eBlast upgrade options. If you have already used your upgrade for the call but need to extend or send another eblast, just contact our staff for help.

Do you offer bulk pricing or package rates?

If your organization runs more than 2 calls a month or 12 calls per year, we can put togther a discounted rate for multiple submissions.
