Phones and tablets deliver the power of a “palette in every pocket” and have accelerated the rise of the emerging artist with accessible and affordable equipment, apps and platforms. STCEA celebrates this creative revolution with smARTwork, a new online exhibit featuring works made exclusively on smart devices. Artists may submit original digital works including photography, painting, collage, animation, drawing or typography. The entry fee is $15 for to submit one piece, $25 to submit two, and $35 to submit three. The maximum number of entries per artist is 3. Submissions are open to residents of the US and Canada from March 1st through April 30th, 2022. Entries are evaluated and selected based on creativity, quality, adherence to theme, and exhibit space. smARTwork runs online June 1st - 30th, 2022.
