The City of Santa Clarita (City) is inviting artists to submit artwork for consideration for our upcoming “Celebrating Diversity” juried exhibition, which will be on view at the First Floor Gallery located in Santa Clarita City Hall. We are seeking original artwork in any medium that celebrates the myriad of cultures, perspectives, and identities that enrich our community. Artwork should explore our human experiences, aiming to foster dialogue with and understanding through visual narratives. DATES AND DEADLINES: Deadline to Apply: April 15, 2024; Exhibition Dates: June 6 – September 18, 2024; Reception: Friday, June 7, 6:00-8:00pm; Artwork Drop-off: June 6, 2024, 10:30-11:00am; Artwork Pick-up: September 19, 2024, 10:00-10:30am. Location: First Floor Gallery, Santa Clarita City Hall. 23920 Valencia Blvd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355. Artists will be notified of juried results roughly two weeks after the deadline.
