Do You Draw People? The Royal Society of Portrait Painters is proud to launch the RP Drawing Prize: Revealing the Human. This is a new, dynamic opportunity for artists, designers and creatives whose work involves drawing. The prize is open to artists in the UK and internationally. This inaugural open call welcomes submissions in all drawing styles and techniques, providing a vibrant platform for bold, original, and thought-provoking work. The RP is seeking submissions from artists who observe and depict people, in whatever form that happens to be. We are keen to explore and expand the idea of what a portrait can be, and because drawing is such an immediate, direct response to the human, we’re hoping to be surprised by the variety of responses.
