
RevArt invites artists to apply for our upcoming exhibition, Art: Not a Luxury, held in Plano, TX. This show centers on the idea that creativity is not a privilege — it’s a necessity. We’re looking for artists who work with everyday materials, tell local stories, and create community-driven art. Whether you’re self-taught, emerging, or established, if your work reflects lived experience and speaks to the value of art in everyday life, we want to hear from you. We are seeking 2D artworks that are ready to hang on the wall, including paintings, drawings, photography, printmaking, mixed media, and textile art. Works should: • Artists with ties to Plano or the DFW area are preferred. • Work made with found, recycled, domestic, or low-cost materials are preferred. • Art inspired by community, identity, place, resilience, or personal history. • Participatory or collaborative projects are welcome. • All mediums accepted: visual art, sculpture, installation, mixed media, photography, sound/video, and more. Requirements: Open to artists of all career levels, with a preference for works that reflect or connect with the local community of Plano, Texas.
