In contrast to digital reproduction, analog photography emphasizes craft, material engagement, and presence—from the moment light meets film to the physical act of printing. This exhibition highlights photographs shaped by time, chemistry, and handwork, where process is central to the photographic experience. PhotoPlace Gallery invites submissions of photographs created using analog capture and/or historical, alternative, or handmade photographic processes. Submitted work is reviewed digitally, but selected images should clearly convey the physical qualities of the final print, including surface, texture, tonality, and edge detail where relevant.
