This call for submissions is open to emerging artists worldwide in the area of photography. Artists, regardless of location, photographic genre, style or subject matter are invited to submit three photographic works for consideration by a selection committee for inclusion in the Monte Matteo Visual Arts Archive. The selected works will be archived in the Modern & Contemporary Art Collection. Our website will post the works to be archived on April 15, 2024 in the Preservation/Highlights section. Submit images through the email address in this post. Submissions should be a maximum of 2000 pixels on the longest side. Each submitted artwork that is accompanied by the following data is eligible for consideration [1] a statement about the work, [2] the title, [3] the year it was created, [4] your name, [5] email address, [6] phone number, [7] and a brief bio. If the work is selected, some of this information will be used in the archive process. Social media or website links are welcome but not required. There are no fees for submissions or selections or for any part of the process. The archive has no rights or claims on archived artworks. The Monte Matteo Visual Arts Archive is administered by an international committee with a focus on emerging visual art and artists.
