Open Call for Artists — Chianciano Biennale 2026

Chianciano Biennale 2026 – International Exhibition of Contemporary Art. The Chianciano Biennale invites artists worldwide to participate in its 2026 edition in Chianciano Terme, Tuscany. This international exhibition will present around 200 artists across the Chianciano Art Museum and 13 galleries in the medieval town centre, showcasing painting, sculpture, installation, photography, digital, and experimental practices. Open to emerging and established practitioners of any nationality and age, the selection is made by an international jury of curators and art professionals. Each submitted work is considered individually; collaborative and previously exhibited works are eligible. There are no thematic or geographic restrictions. Selected artists will exhibit in a museum-level programme, receive editorial exposure across Biennale publications and digital channels, and engage with visiting curators, critics, and collectors. The Biennale also provides professional development through critical review opportunities and international exchanges. Awards and opportunities include cash prizes for outstanding works, category prizes, selection to exhibit at the London Art Biennale, and critique from the International Confederation of Art Critics. How to apply: submit works via the official Chianciano Biennale website below. Refer to the application page for image requirements and submission guidelines. Applications close 31 May 2026. Enquiries welcomed via biennale@museodarte.org
