Rebels are at the core of every culture. A Rebel is someone who breaks the rules, resists authority, or otherwise challenges the status quo by doing things in a nontraditional way. David Bowie famously sang about Rebels and to honor their unique traits and attributes, our November Group Show celebrates Rebels. Throughout history Rebels have changed a lot of things for the better whether it be Women’s Rights, the LGBTQ+ rights or dress codes for example. Perhaps you lived through a period of time when being a Rebel was the coolest thing to be. Maybe a famous rebel has inspired you. Perhaps you are a friend of a Rebel or maybe You are the Rebel. Show us your Rebels! * Digital entries must be received by October 28th, 2022 before 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time. * Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by October 31st. * The show will premier on November 1st and end on November 30th. AWARDS: All Artists participating in the group show will be featured on our Website and Virtual Gallery platform. We will promote the show and the Artists on our Newsletter and individually on our Instagram page @hmvcgallery. Finally all Artists will be awarded with a HMVC Gallery New York certificate of participation. During the Group Show we will select two winners to have their own Solo Shows the following month. They will have two weeks each and we will promote them in our Newsletter and on our Instagram page respectfully. See links below for more information.
