In our exhibition titled Essence we invite you to explore how to express the essence of your subject. By capturing the essence of a person, feeling or object you can express the essential elements and distill what may appear complex into your own pure visual language. Capture the essence of your subject by conveying only the essential elements. Strike a balance so you can communicate the essence of what you see through your composition. The essence of an idea or your model refined down to the simplest shapes & forms whilst still conveying the inspiration where you began. Through the distillation of ideas communicate the essence of your subject. Artists over the age of 18 years from all countries are welcome. Artists working in all fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, water colour, gouache, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except video. $36 for 6 images/ $30 for 3 images/ $15 for 1 image.
