Everyday Abstracts a la El Anatsui Workshop By Erica Hughes, Programs Director at Delray Artisans
Instructors: Amy Castine and Erica Hughes. Date/Time: Saturday, August 13 from 6-8pm. Class size: 4-15 participants. (Register by midnight on August 10). El Anatsui is a Ghanaian sculptor who creates textured artworks from everyday objects. Using cleaned nespresso pods, learn about this fabulous contemporary artist while making your own creation using his methods. All supplies will be provided during this workshop, but you are welcome to bring additional cleaned Nespresso pods. Face masks are recommended while inside the gallery.
