Exhibit Dates: October 3 – November 1, 2025 with Opening Reception: Friday, October 3 from 7–9 pm at Del Ray Artisans, 2704 Mount Vernon Ave., Alexandria, VA 22301. Drawing inspiration from Spike Milligan’s poem “Bump” and the old Cornish Litany about ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggedy beasties, the Bump in the Night art exhibit at Del Ray Artisans reveals the source of frightening, unexplainable noises heard at night and the experiences behind “things that go bump in the night.” Join us for the opening reception on Friday, October 3 between 7-9pm to meet curator Morgan Parr and the artists. Also join us during Art on the Avenue, the annual arts festival along Mount Vernon Avenue, on Saturday, October 4. Del Ray Artisans will be open from 10am-6pm during the festival and will host one of the Kids Art Corner activities in the Mount Vernon Recreation Center fields from 10am-3pm.
