The Blue Koi Gallery is excited to announce their “Abstract” International Juried Art Competition. This competition is open to all art mediums, styles, and skill levels and is designed to encourage growth in the art world by giving emerging artists a platform to showcase their work and talent. All applicants must be 18 years or older and submit 5 original pieces that adhere to the theme of “Abstract”. Submissions will be judged based on technique, interpretation of the abstract theme, originality, and artistic merit. Cash prizes up to $200 will be awarded to winning artists Theme Description: The contest invites artists to submit their best artwork that represents the theme of abstraction, allowing them to explore and experiment with colors, shapes, textures, and forms in new and innovative ways. Accepted Media: Visual art in various forms such as Painting, Mixed Media, Photography, Digital, and Sculpture, 3D Installation will all be taken into consideration. Entry fees: The entry fee is $20 for 5 pieces. (non-refundable).
