ArtSeen Launches Open Call for Digital Showcase During South Africa’s National Arts Festival 2025
ArtSeen is proud to announce a global open call for artists to participate in a special digital showcase during South Africa’s National Arts Festival, taking place June 26 – July 6, 2025. The National Arts Festival, held annually in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown) since 1974, is one of the continent’s most respected cultural events—known for its deep roots in activism, creative freedom, and boundary-pushing artistic expression. ArtSeen will extend this legacy by curating selected artworks to appear on digital screens across South Africa, reaching thousands of festival-goers, locals, and international visitors.
