ARTS FORT WORTH IS PROUD TO PRESENT: Dance Like A Rodeo Tornado. Deadline: December 23, 2022. Dance Like A Rodeo Tornado is a Western and rodeo themed exhibition encompassing traditional and contemporary notions of the "West" as concept or location, reflecting the hybrid identity of Fort Worth, Texas. Artworks may include any of the western genre styles, western film and television tropes, or Western subgenres portraying the history, people, landscape, wildlife, or fantasy of the areas in the western regions. Open to artists at all levels. Artists may submit up to three (3) artworks open to all disciplines. All mediums accepted including oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, prints, drawings, mixed media, sculpture, video, installation, photography, and digital art with no size restrictions. The exhibition will occur in Art Fort Worth’s Marlene & Spencer Hays Foundation Gallery. All artwork must be original and must not infringe upon any copyright or the rights of any person. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: December 23, 2022. EXHIBITION DATES: January 13, 2023 - February 25, 2023. RECEPTION: February 3, 2023, 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
