Theme: Summer of the soul, summer thunder, summer wine, summer fling, summer solstice. Summer represents a life phase of love, adventure and happiness. It’s a coming of age and a symbol of hope. The warmth of the summer sun softens our fears and worries. It’s a respite after a long, cold winter. It nurtures play and relaxation. And in it, nature becomes its most luxuriant. Share your literal, symbolic, or abstract interpretation of SUMMER. | Eligible Submissions: Entries may include 2- and 3-dimensional media, such as paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media, installations, ceramics, jewelry, fabric, sculpture, photos of performance art, fiction, poetry, short stories and other written explorations (up to 1,800 words).
