The artist’s and writer’s call for the ArtAscent Art & Literature Journal CHILDREN issue is now open. Children inspire, energize, and reveal a wide range of emotions—joy, curiosity, vulnerability, and transformation. Their presence in play, learning, storytelling, and discovery symbolizes hope and imagination, while also reflecting the complexities and fragility of childhood. Explore your interpretation of CHILDREN in a literal, abstract, whimsical, or deeply personal way. ArtAscent is a theme-based publication and online exhibition showcasing artists and writers worldwide across painting, illustration, photography, mixed media, sculpture, textile, digital art, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry, design, film, installation, performance, story writing, and poetry. Selected creatives are featured in our online exhibition for at least two years. Up to 40 artists and writers may also be published in the ArtAscent magazine—up to 100 premium-designed pages with no outside ads. Four will receive a special feature section with a written profile. All selected work receives broad promotion across our website, publications, and social media. Applications may include any 2D visual medium and written works up to 1,800 words.
