Artists are invited to submit a community arts project proposal inspired by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., his life, his vision, his work. The project coincides with our annual MLK Days program, January 13-15, 2024, and may remain on display through February. The project may result in a short or long term installation to be exhibited in the sculpture garden or one of the galleries. Artist may also be featured in a solo exhibition in the Main Gallery our outside grounds where appropriate. Solo shows tyically run From MLK weekend through February. These details will be agreed upon at time of acceptance. ****Artist must be willing to engage with visitors during the three days of the program, January 13-15, 2024. Residency length: minimum 3 days, up to 1 week.
