Now in its 22nd year, American Artwork is a juried annual publication featuring painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and craft. One thousand copies are printed in Hong Kong and distributed to galleries, art consultants, collectors, and participating artists. Printed on Japanese gloss art stock and Smyth-sewn, the book’s trim size is 8.5" H x 6" W. Past editions were described as “stunning” by the San Francisco Chronicle. The juror is former Oakland craft gallery owner Jan Christensen-Heller. There is no jury fee. Artists selected for publication may choose: • One page — $198 • Two-page spread — $395. Participants receive complimentary copies of the finished volume: • Eight copies with a one-page feature • Twelve copies with a two-page spread. Optional postcards are available: 500 postcards — $98 (6" x 4.25", full color front). Submission deadline: June 15. Participation fees due upon layout approval: July 10. Publication date: October 10.
