town & country: metropolis, farmland, village, city, hamlet, metropolitan, suburb, asphalt jungle, pastoral, rural, boondocks urban, boonies, downtown, backwoods …. Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme "town & country" to A Smith Gallery by April 29, 2024. Entries of 13 or more images are eligible for a complementary review by the gallery directors. The entry fee is $40 for the first 5 images and $5 for each additional image. Fifty five images will be selected for exhibition and shown in the online gallery from May 24 to July 4, 2024. An exhibition catalogue with all the accepted images will be mailed to all accepted artist. 27 images from the total 55 images will be selected for “The 27”, a limited edition hardbound fine art book of the exhibition. The Juror’s and Director’s award winners will each receive a copy of the limited edition hardbound fine art book and a feature story on the gallery blog. The Juror’s Award also includes an online solo exhibition. The Visitors’ Award is $100 and is selected by most Instagram likes. Juror for "town & country" will be Michael Kirchoff, photographer, curator, artist and editor of Analog Forever Magazine.
