OPEN CALL: The Art of Progress Prize is a global open call supporting the next generation of creative changemakers working at the intersection of art, innovation, and sustainability. Open to artists aged 18–35 worldwide, the Prize welcomes works that engage one or more sensory dimensions as an integral part of the artistic practice—ranging from bio-art and data visualisation to scent-driven or immersive installations—while demonstrating a clear environmental consciousness. Ten finalists will be shortlisted, and up to five will be invited to present their work at dsm-firmenich’s HQ in Switzerland in June 2026. The Grand Prize winner will receive a €15,000 cash prize, a one-year mentorship with dsm-firmenich’s creative teams, and opportunities for further collaboration. Submissions may include finished works as well as works in progress. In all cases, applicants are expected to demonstrate that the proposed work can be realistically completed and installed for the exhibition in June 2026, supported by appropriate visual or material documentation, where possible, to allow the Selection Committee to assess feasibility and execution capacity.
