Submissions are officially open for the 2027 ArtFields Competition & Festival, one of the Southeast's largest and most prestigious art events, held each spring in Lake City, South Carolina. Artists working in any visual art medium are invited to submit one work for consideration. Selected artists will exhibit alongside hundreds of peers in galleries, warehouses, restaurants, shops, and other venues throughout downtown, competing for over $100,000 in cash prizes, including a Grand Prize, People's Choice Awards, 5 Merit Awards and more. Eligible artists must be 18 or older and have resided in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia for at least six months. ArtFields began in 2013 with a mission of elevating the profile of artists who live and work in the Southeastern United States. The event was designed to incorporate the whole town into the celebration. This allows art to be infinitely more accessible to everyone. If your art is selected, thousands of people will see it, including art curators, collectors, critics, and news media.
