Since 2003, TheArtList.com has been a leading online resource for visual artists and photographers
who are looking for income and exhibition opportunities to enter.
TheArtList.com was originally created by Hartford, CT artist/writer, Ken Schweizer, who had become so frustrated with wasting time scouring the Internet and other opportunity websites for art competitions
to enter, that he decided to create a simple website and list all of all the contests and opportunities
he could find. Ken turned his findings into a website called THE ART LIST, an extensive digest of
art contest and opportunity listings from all over the United States and abroad. TheArtList.com has since been turned over to Editor, Joseph Hollinshead who has grown TheArtList.com from a simple online
posting board to an internationally known online resource and art community for visual artists and photographers. TheArtList.com currently has a subscriber base of over 5500 members and partnerships with WetCanvas!, F&W Publications, Southwest Arts magazine, LicensingCourse.com, ArtistSites.org and The Women’s Caucus of the Arts.
