Fusion Art is pleased to announce it is now accepting submissions for “Waterscapes,” its September 2016 international online juried art exhibition. For this competition artists and photographers worldwide are encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of Waterscapes. The Waterscapes theme includes any art or photography which depicts any type of body of water including the ocean, lakes, rivers, ponds, streams, etc. The theme includes coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas, beaches, and any related seashore or lakeside subjects. It can also include rain, puddles and frozen waterscapes. The artwork can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction.The competition is open to artists worldwide and all artists and photographers, regardless of location or experience level, are encouraged to participate.Entry fee: $25 for first 2 images / $10 each additional image. All competitions include awards in two categories - "Traditional" Art and " Photography & Digital" Art and the Best in Show winners in each category will be invited to participate in the annual group show in Palm Springs in November 2016. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art’s website, in 70+ press release announcements, email marketing, online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s social media outlets. New American Paintings is a museum-quality, soft-cover art periodical, published bimonthly by The Open Studios Press. Each 184 page volume is a regional exhibition-in-print, selling for $20 at 1,500 bookstores, museum shops and art supply stores nationwide. The books have become periodical resources for collectors and art world professionals. Competition winners retain all rights to their images and pay nothing to appear in New American Paintings. Now accepting entries from: CT, DE, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, and VT. The competition’s 40 winners will appear in the Feb/Mar 2017 edition of New American Paintings. Contemporary Art Gallery Online encourages entries from all 2D and 3D artists regardless of their experience or education in the art field. A group exhibition of all entrants will be held online at Contemporary Art Gallery Online during the month of September 2016. Awards will be given for the top 5 chosen winners in the Paintings, Photography/Digital Art and Mixed Media/3D Categories. Submissions are invited to the Master of Art International - ABSTRACT Calendar 2018. Deadline of registration: Wednesday 31st August 2016. Selection committee: The owner and representatives of Margarita Feaks Gallery. About the competition: 1. Master of Art International Calendar 2018 (“the competition”) is an international printing publication in worldwide distribution, on the themed of Masterpiece - exclusively the very best collection of original artwork painting and drawing. 2. Can enter unlimited number of entries and the non-refundable entry fee of £ 20.00 each. 3. The competition is open to all artists worldwide aged 18 or over. 4. Entry completed within 24 months and must not have won national or international competitions.5. Selection will be jury between by the owners and representative of Margarita Feaks Gallery, and the decisions are final. Works will be presented anonymously and judged purely on artistic merit from the colour photographs or CD of digital images submitted. They will consider a range of factors including composition, technical ability, and originality, interpretation of the brief and commercial appeal of the artwork. Projekt30 is taking submissions for our October publicly juried exhibition. We are an artist-run arts organization dedicated to promoting emerging artists. The exhibition will include thirty artists; invitations will be sent to over 30,000 galleries, collectors, and fellow artists. Visitors have the option of contacting any participating artist with feedback or opportunities, we do not charge a commission. Since 2003 over 14,000 artists have participated in our programs, and we’ve sold thousands of artworks. All artwork submitted will be presented online prior to the exhibition so visitors may help select which artists will be included in the exhibition. Unlike other juried exhibitions, all participants receive exposure. $35 for 10 images. Free for Projekt30 members. Opens: October 1, 2016.
