Projekt30 is seeking submissions for our next publicly juried show. "Publicly juried" means all work is presented online prior to the exhibition, and site visitors select the final 30. All participants receive exposure. Invitations will be sent to our extensive mailing list of galleries, collectors, etc and viewers have the option of contacting artists, both during the jury and after the winners are selected. As of Nov. 2011 over 300,000 messages have been sent to previous Projekt30 participants. Projekt30 is an organization dedicated to promoting artists. We provide websites for 100s of artists, since 2003 have conducted over 120 juried exhibitions, featured the artwork of 1,000s of artists, and facilitated the sale of 1,000s of artworks. $40 Entry fee, for 10 images. The Sex Issue: Volume 7

We are accepting work ranging from the personal, to the political, to the near-pornographic. It will be publicly juried: artwork submitted will be presented prior to the exhibition, and site visitors select the final 30 winners. All participants receive exposure. They rule our world with a furry sharp-clawed fist. They allow us to live with them -- as long as we abide by their rules. Step out of line, and you will feel their wrath. So… what's a human to do? PHOTOGRAPH THEM, of course! That's right, 1650 Gallery is hosting a juried photo exhibition of the love 'em or leave 'em world of cats. While we're thinking mostly of Felis Domestica (the common house cat), if you have shots of lions, tigers, panthers, leapords or any of the big cats, they work too! Whether it's cute kitties or prowling hunters, farm cat or city kitty -- if it's feline-based you're good to go. We're even looking for girls in cat suits! So what's new, pussycat? PCPC's Juried Art Show is now accepting registration in all categories of visual arts for the March show "The Passion and The Promise." Go to the PCPC Arts Festival website or facebook page to learn more, download rules, and register. Cash prizes for best of theme and people's choice. There is no fee unless your work is selected for delivery on February 25th. $35 for first accepted work, additional $10 for second accepted work (in a different theme). Guest Juror is Bruce Herman, international artist, professor and Lothlórien Distinguished Chair of Fine Arts at Gordon College. Show dates are March 24 - April 1, 2012. Proceeds go to innercity arts education in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Gregory Wolfe, editor and publisher of IMAGE JOURNAL, will kick-off the season with his presentation "Saying It without Saying It: How to Talk about Art (and Faith)" on January 24 at 7:00 pm at Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas.
