Instructor: Shona D’Cruz (pronounced "shawna"). Dates: Tuesday, August 16 from 6:30–8:30pm. Class size: 6-14 (12 years minimum age). (Register by midnight on August 12). Create a beautiful 4" by 4" ready-to-hang mosaic panel out of beautiful millefiori, ceramic tiles, stained glass, vitreous tiles, natural elements and other fun materials. During this 2-hour class, the instructor will walk you through the steps of creating a design, along with considerations for color and placement of your chosen tesserae. Designs may be geometric, free-form or pretty much anything you fancy! Please note the following: Please do not bring any glass or ceramic cutting tools to this workshop. Please wear closed-toed shoes. This is not messy work (no glass cutting), but the adhesive won't come off clothing. Please dress accordingly and bring an apron if you wish.
