The Abbey is dedicated to promoting international peace and understanding through the universal language of the arts. The Creative Residency program provides time and space for individuals and groups to create new works, research innovative ideas, and experiment with different techniques and modes of production.Interaction among like minded individuals and studio visits with the Visiting Artist. The Visiting Artist will also present a slide lecture or a reading during their stay at the Abbey.The facilities at the Abbey include shared studio space in centuries old barn, secluded writing studios, and extensive grounds for painting and drawing. Internet access is available.
